MAC OSX SETUP
1. Click on the Apple menu, select Location and then Network Preferences.

2. The network panel will open up.

At the top portion of the screen, click on the configure pop-up list and choose
Internal Modem
(if you have an
external modem, you may need to choose Modem Port)
4. Click on the TCP/IP Tab.
5. Select Using PPP in the configure list.
6. (65.162.52.5 and 65.162.52.6)
7. Enter dctexas.net in the search domains field.
Note:
If the user cannot make changes, have them click on the lock at the
bottom right of the window, and enter the Admin Login info.
8. Click on the PPP tab.

9. Enter DCTexas into the service provider field.
10. Enter your local DCTexas dial-up number in the telephone number field.
11. Enter your username in the account name field.
12. Enter your password in the password field.
13. Make sure that the save password box is checked.
14. Click on the PPP Options Button.

15. Check the connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications box.
16. Check the prompt to stay connected if idle for -- minutes box. (15 minutes is recommended)
17. Check Disconnect when user logs out.
18. Check redial if busy (redial 5 times, wait 60 seconds before redialing)
19. Check send PPP echo packets.
20. Check use TCP header compression.
21. Click on the modem tab.

Select your modem from the Modem pop-up list. If you have a machine with a built
in modem, then it will probably be
listed as an Apple Internal
56K Modem (v.90)
23. Click save.

Click on save again.
25. Now relax and take a deep breath, you are finished!
