We have the new TURBOnet ready for you to download to your computer! Before you download the new program first please go through the following steps for us:

(1) Go to your START Menu and click to open your Control Panel. On some versions of Windows you will need to go to START, then Settings to find the Control Panel.

(2) Find the icon or option to Add or Remove Programs, and click on it to open it.

(3) On the left of the new window that opened, please click the button to Change or Remove Programs. All the programs installed on your computer will be listed on the right. Look to see if you have a program called DCTEXAS TURBOnet.***

(4) If you DO have DCTEXAS TURBOnet, please click on it and then click the button that says REMOVE. We want you to uninstall the old program first. Please allow it to uninstall and then you MUST restart your computer to finish removing the program from your computer. Once you restart please come back to this update page!

*** If there is no DCTEXAS TURBOnet listed along with all your other programs, then you are free to continue downloading the new DCTEXAS TURBOnet.

To begin using the new TURBOnet, please CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD TURBOnet on your computer. Please save the file win-TURBOnet.exe to your computer, this will install TURBOnet on your computer. Here are a few hints to assist with the installation:

(1) yes you may allow win-TURBOnet.exe to run,

(2) it will ask you to close all browsers, meaning your internet explorer or firefox, (You may want to write steps 4-6 down, or print them out because you will not be able to look at this page while it installs, this will be closed.)

(3) the installation wizard will open, please press NEXT to continue,

(4) accept the license agreement,

(5) no custom installation needed, accept the basic install already listed there,

(6) then it will install and it will tell you twice it must restart your computer to finish the installation. Please allow it restart your computer.

While your computer is restarting is the best time to give us a call at 1-866-DCTEXAS so we can activate the TURBOnet acceleration for your account. You will have to call and let us know you downloaded and installed the program, we won't know that you did. You won't be able to browse at accelerated speeds until you give us a call and let us help you access the acceleration of the new TURBOnet.
